Major Update to Contractor List

The Contractor List has been updated to include phone numbers and websites for most of the companies that were originally from Local 2870. Some former Local 2090 shops have been updated to include website info as well.

New Office Hours and Location

Local 2790 has moved it's office downstairs to the 1st floor at the District Council. It can be accessed from the Houston St entrance at 395 Husdson Street. Also the office hours have changed, the local is open 8:30a-4:00p Monday thru Thursday and 8:30a-3:00p on Friday.

Woodwork Report is Back

The Woodwork Report has returned to the website and is available on the navigation bar and also here

Member Forum and Comments Now Open

Local 2790 members who are logged in can now access The Member Forum. In the forum, members can chat amongst themselves, ask questions, make suggestions, and speak their mind, in a private section of the website.

Also, all future articles on this site are open up to comments. If you are logged in, feel free to post a comment on a story by clicking on the comment button directly below every article. Please keep in mind that we would like to have beneficial discussions only, so there is a Code of Conduct we must all follow when commenting on this site, or chatting on the forum.

Members can now register on Local2790.org for an account! Once registered, you can subscribe to site updates via email. Now every time a new article is posted on the site, you will receive a notification in your email inbox. Also you will have access to the members-only section. This will contain minutes from local meetings, notices, and other documents that are for Local 2790 members only.
