In Memory of Joseph E. Cornelius

Retired Local 2790 member Joseph Cornelius recently passed away. Prior to retirement he was an employee at Nordic Interior, Inc. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Below is some information on who he was and the life he lived.

Funeral Service for Zi Zhuang Mai

Local 2090 member Zi Zhuang Mai passed away last week. He worked at Nordic Interior, Inc. for 15 years and was known by his friends simply as "Mai". He was a machine man who was also skilled at welding and metalwork. Local 2090 would like to extend it's condolences to the family of Zi Zhuang Mai. He will not be forgotten. Two Members Tragically Killed in Auto Accident

Local 2090 members Daniel Gambardella and Ilario Scuteri were involved in an auto accident with a drunk driver on April 30, 2011. They were on their way to Empire, the company they worked for together. Unfortunately, neither member survived the crash. At the next union meeting on May 19th there will be a collection for members who wish to donate to the families of the victims. We encourage all members to show their support and would like to thank them in advance of their help.
