Committees are Being Formed

Local 2790 will soon be forming committees and is looking for any members who are interested in getting involved. We are forming a Scholarship Committee to oversee the formation of a new scholarship fund for Local 2790 and to oversee the dispersal of funds from the Local 2090 scholarship fund. Also a committee to plan and facilitate the upcoming Family Day Picnic this summer. In addition, we have a committee for planning our setup at the softball tournament and a committee for the softball team representing Local 2790. Any members who are interested in taking on the challenge and joing any of our committees, please contact the Local.

2011 Family Day Picnic Cancelled

The Family Day Picnic for 2011 has been cancelled. This is due to uncertainty regarding approval for picnic expenditures by the Review Officer.

2011 Family Day Picnic Postponed

The 2011 Family Day Charity Picnic has been postponed until further notice. The picnic WILL NOT occur on July 16th. When a new date is chosen, it will be announced on www.Local2090.com.
