Notice of Nomination/Election for the Office of Trustee to the District Council

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Nominations will be held at the April 11,2012 District Council Delegate Meeting @ 5PM. The nominations will be held at the District Council located at 395 Hudson Street New York, NY.

All Members in good standing are eligible to be nominated.

Election by the Delegate Body will be held at the May 9,2012 District Council Delegate Meeting @ 5PM at the District Council located at 395 Hudson Street New York, NY.

The April Review Officerls Forum will prwide opportunity for Trustee candidate's to speak to membership. Date to be announced - check District Council website for update.

Since there is only one person nominated for each available spot, there will be no election held. At the next meeting, these above listed members will be sworn into the positions for which they were nominated.

Nominations for Executive Board and District Council Delegate

On Monday, February 6 @ 6pm there will be nominations for Executive Board Members as well as one District Council Delegate seat. In order to be nominated, or nominate a fellow member you must be a Local 2790 member in good standing for at least 2 years and depend on Union Carpentry as your livelihood.

Rob Villalta has won the election for Executive Committee Member and will represent Local 2790 at the District Council Executive Committee.

There is 1 Executive Committee Member position available and 2 members nominated. The election will be held on Monday, December 19th @ 395 Hudson Street from 1pm-7pm. Executive Committee Member Nominations

The delegate position known as "Executive Delegate" is now known as "Executive Committee Member". Following the delegate elections for Local 2790 at last month's meeting, in the November meeting on Monday the 28th, nominations for the position of Executive Committee Member will be held. Only members of the NYC District Council Delegate Body representing Local 2790 are eligible to be nominated for this position. The election will be held the following general meeting on December 19th for this position.

Inorder to vote you must be a Local 2790 member in good standing for at least 2 years.
